The master bedroom is on the main level and has a king size bed with private master bath. The master bath has a deep jetted tub, double sink vanity, and a walk-in shower, as well as a large walk-in closet. The master bedroom also has a TV and a DVD player hidden inside the wardrobe. Bedside lamps are on each side for those who like to read, and an alarm clock is provided if you need it. Light blocking curtains are provided over the shades in case you would like to sleep late.
The second bedroom is on the main level and also has a king size bed and an attached bathroom with walk-in shower. This bathroom is also accessible from the hallway. The bedroom has a flat screen TV/DVD player and a large closet. This bedroom also has bedside lamps are on each side for those who like to read, and an alarm clock if you need it. Light blocking curtains are provided over the shades in case you would like to sleep late.
The third bedroom is on the upper level and has a king size bed as well. The bedroom has a flat screen TV/DVD player and a small closet. This bedroom also has bedside lamps are on each side for those who like to read, and an alarm clock if you need it. The dark curtains block the light well in case you would like to sleep late.
The fourth bedroom is on the upper level and also has a king size bed. The bedroom has a flat screen TV/DVD player and a small closet. This bedroom also has bedside lamps are on each side for those who like to read, and an alarm clock if you need it. The dark curtains block the light well in case you would like to sleep late.
The third full bathroom is located on the upper level, in the hall between the third and fourth bedrooms. It has a shower/tub combination. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
The fourth bathroom is located on the lower level and has a shower/tub combination.
The great room has soaring cathedral ceilings and is open to the dining and kitchen areas. It has a sleeper sofa, a second full sofa, and an accent chair for seating. The triple windows beautifully frame the gorgeous view of Table Rock Lake and the Ozark Mountains. There is a 42" plasma TV with DVD player, as well as a box of toys for the children. The dining area has a large table with seating for eight people. We also provide a card table and four folding chairs for additional table seating. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
The kitchen is open to the dining and great room and has a wonderful view out the triple windows as well. We have fully stocked the kitchen with stoneware place settings, heavy stainless flatware, glasses, mugs, stemware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes, crockpots, muffin tins, cookie sheets, and even stoneware for pizza. Of course, there is also a dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender, and waffle iron. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
The large back deck is 23' x 12' and has a large gas grill and a patio set. It also has a stunning view of the surrounding area.
The upstairs landing features a comfortable reading chair with a tall bookshelf that includes some of our favorite books.
On the lower level, besides the fourth full bathroom, is the 700+ sq. ft. family room. Our boys' favorite place to hang out at, the family room has a sleek black pool table, a 50" TV with DVD player and PlayStation 2, a solid wood poker table, and a large steamer trunk full of family board games.
The family room also has two sofa sleepers for additional sleeping, one of them with an extra thick 7 inch mattress. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
Lastly, the laundry room is on the lower level and has a washer and a dryer for you to use during your stay at Canyon Retreat.
Community Ammenities
The "zero-entry" swimming pool, clubhouse, and playground are located just across the street from Canyon Retreat.
The swimming pool is open approximately May 1st through October 15th. Hours are generally sun up to sun down, and there is no swimming after dark. Please note that there is no lifegaurd on duty and that you swim at your own risk. There are posted rules at the swimming pool, and we ask that you abide by them.
The clubhouse has a large gathering area, a media room, a game room with a pool table, a kitchen, and a small fitness room. The hours vary by the season. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
The playground is next to the swimming pool and has a wooden clubhouse set with swings, a slide, and a tunnel.
The hiking trails have two access points. The first is at the top of Canyon Crossing, to the left of the overflow parking area. It has several large rocks marking the entrance. The second access point is off Streamside, behind Nature's Retreat. You will see a handmade bridge crossing the creek. (see the photo gallery for more photos)
